Our Reality Is A Mirror Reflection

Have you ever feel like you're receiving a push back from the universe as if the world is working hard to make you feel like crap? If yes, then it’s time to get honest. It’s time to start asking yourself how you've invited this response into your life.

Life abounds due to its dualistic nature of equal and opposites. Our life is a sequence of outcomes, symbols and shadows. Good and bad moments do not exist save for the meaning we assign to them. The universe is a hologram, out picturing what is present on an inner level of our beliefs, judgments, priorities and level of consciousness. Therefore putting out much energy into changing the outer world could be equated to not liking what you see in a mirror, and then trying to change the reflection.

Everything that you are currently experiencing externally is a direct reflection of your thoughts, emotions, beliefs and perspective that you view your world through. The world within orders the world without. The world within is the cause, the world without is the effect. And so to change the effect you must change the cause. If there is chaos and havoc in your outside world, that means there is chaos and havoc in your inner world. If there is very little love in your outside world, that means you have very little love in your inner world.

Your Inner World Shapes Your Outer World

The world simply exists. It is neither good or bad, pure or evil. But throughout your experience in this world, your mind has classified certain things as good and bad and has created certain beliefs about life. Those beliefs that you have then create your experiences by being reflected outwards.

You are continually shaping the world around you as a result of your conscious and unconscious thoughts. Reality is but a mirror reflection of your inner world.

I am not what I think I am. I am not what you think I am. I am what I think you think I am.

– Charles Horton Cooley

What we think about and say often manifests directly in the form of people and situations. This holographic universe in which we live in is highly interactive. It is a pattern that is part of a larger pattern that is part of an even larger pattern and so on.

Cherished ancient traditions have known this truth for thousands of years and modern scientists have only now begun to discover and scientifically accept the holographic nature of our universe. If we live in the spiritual belief that we are all one and we are all connected, then there is no doubt that each of us reflects something in another. The Universe acts like a big mirror of our inner reality by bringing it into our external world.

You Are The Creator Of Your Life

In order to change anything in the external pattern, we need to change something within us. And since you truly do not have power over others in the outside world, your focus is to work on staying in control of your inner world which is where your true power lies. This process allows us to stop looking outside of ourselves as to why things are happening and instead, turn within for the answers.

When you accept your experience to be real just because you see it now, it strengthens your inner belief and causes you to become even more confident in it. When your belief solidifies, it reflects out even stronger than before and this creates an ongoing feedback loop. So in a way when people argue over if the world is good or bad, neither one of them is wrong. They are both correct because each one witnesses it as the truth in their own reality. The principle of the oneness of life and its environment clarifies that individuals can influence and reform their environments through inner change or through the elevation of their basic life state. By elevating our basic life state we can transform our external reality.

Inner reality brings forth external conditions according to your thoughts. Should you resign yourself to being a victim, life will assuredly offer you evidence of it. If you do the internal work and make your internal reality beautiful, abundant, and pleasant, it will surely reflect in your external world eventually. This is where you must stay patient and persistent. The choice is yours entirely.

In order for you to recognize a certain quality in another, it must exist as part of your own consciousness. You could not see it otherwise.

Your current choices are the result of conditioned beliefs carried from a young age. Your beliefs are unconscious because they are formed during an impressionable period. You had little choice in the matter because your upbringing was not of your control. You get caught up in the life you think you are supposed to have and these unconscious beliefs are then being weaved into your program. It is reflected as free choice on your part in the later years. That is how most get caught in the illusion of free will.

Life offers us feedback on the congruency of our thoughts so that we can take action to correct them. Reality provides you feedback to help you right the wrong and create new circumstances based on a shift in awareness. In order for you to recognize a certain quality in another, then it must be part of your own consciousness. You could not see it otherwise.

You Discover In Others What Is In You

What drives you crazy about others? That they are impatient, fat, old, insecure, unprofessional, slow, rude, etc. We hate in others what we hate in ourselves. The mirror reflects our worst flaws. And it’s always seemed easier to see what’s wrong on the other side of the street.

When you live without awareness, you see these situations as just situations that happen to you haphazard, perhaps coincidental moments that occur randomly in your life. That is when you fall into the trap of blaming others. You become angry at the world or try to reason through what went wrong or why things happen. The truth is you have drawn these people and situations to yourself for your own higher good, your understanding and the evolution of your soul.

None of us are without flaws. We all have our deficiencies and areas of personality that are underdeveloped and needed work. But we are often unaware of these deficits. Self-love often causes us to be in denial, preventing us from resolving and correcting these weaknesses.

What Do You Want To See?

In order to change the inner world, it is only necessary to let go. You need to discover how to surrender those limiting beliefs and judgments that have kept you bound. When you accept changes in your inner reality, you live in greater harmony with life itself. As you believe, so you create. There is nothing that you cannot become, simply because you are already the whole.

Once you begin accepting your inner responsibility for the external happenings in your life, you can begin to be grateful for the abundance that life offers. There is a lesson in everything.

It is only when you understand what it truly means to see yourself reflected back at you, that there is no room for blame, there is no room for judgment and there is no room to feel like a victim of another person's actions or words. What’s left is only real love and compassion based on understanding and gratitude.
