Embrace Your Power And Stop Letting Self-Doubt Hold You Captive

Our school system does not even come close to preparing us for life. The real world is a tough, ugly, and difficult place, at least, if that’s what you choose to focus on. We need to develop a strong mindset to successfully navigate through life. The kind that stands between where we are and where we want to be.

We must develop a mental acceptance for believing what is true about ourselves. You need to have faith in the person who’s staring back at you in the mirror. Believe you’ve got what it takes to win in life and then build greatness upon that foundation.

Even if my mind does not know exactly where I’m heading, my heart is usually well aware of the direction I should take. If I don’t believe I can, I can’t take one more step on my journey. People can only successfully move towards what they believe to be possible. My belief is important because it changes my reality.

To advance, I must be able to see the finish line before it exist. I have to feel the excitement and pleasure of victory amid the struggles I’m facing. The light at the end of the tunnel must be visible when I’m submerged in darkness.

You already have what it takes to get there, no matter where you are or how your situation looks right now.

You’re what you are because of what’s within you. The way you think will determine whether you’ll arrive at your destination.

We’re not debating about capability or talent. Luck certainly has nothing to do with it. This is about who I am. My outlook matters. My determination and my fortitude matters. When I choose to believe in myself, my brain recognizes that signal and processes the information differently.

People who believe in themselves do not let doubt diminish their confidence. They push past those moments. When the situation gets rough, they keep going. They never consider if they should give up or turn back. They never stop amid uncertainty or ask why. When everything feels like an uphill struggle, they only ask How? How can I do this? How can I make it despite the obstacles? How can I overcome it? They will figure out life as it comes.

You’re not the outcome of what happens around you. You’re what you are because of what’s within you. The way you think will determine whether you’ll arrive at your destination. No one can understand you better than yourself and no one can push you more than you push yourself. Be your biggest cheerleader and hold yourself accountable.

Sometimes we forget our role is not the actor but the director of our own movie. We are the creator of our reality. Ask yourself these questions: What happens when you come face-to-face with disadvantages? When it looks like there’s no way out, what do you do? How do you cope when the odds are clearly against you?

Make a big deal, an enormous deal out of the daily pursuits, the small wins, the little push, and nudges every day when it looks like nothing else is happening.

Does it matter? Yes.

It’s about what I believe in myself. I create my landscape and I made my own rules. I instruct my eyes what to see. It’s about intention, where I am going, and what I would do to get there.

This is where I will reframe the situation, refocus my vision, and redirect my steps. Out of chaos shall come order. The problems are the solutions. The risks are the opportunities. It’s entirely up to me to interpret it. I am the author of my story, therefore I can choose to see it as how I want it.

Make a big deal, an enormous deal out of the daily pursuits, the small wins, the little push, and nudges every day when it looks like nothing else is happening. Those are the difficult moments that nobody wants to talk about. But really, no one needs to know. That’s not their reality, that’s mine.

Regardless of who knows or not, who cares or doesn’t, I will continue to press on into the unknown. I believe in myself and I’m confident that my mind will pave the way for my accomplishment.

Stand firm in what you believe in. Believe enough in yourself to bring about that change in your life.

There will be doubters and haters. Not everyone will agree with what you do, that’s okay. Never let it bother you. But don’t you ever go against yourself. Don’t wait for anyone to make your life better. Choose to believe in your ability. Embrace the power of rooting for yourself. Believe you can. Believe in your own greatness. See it. Live it. And let it define you.

Continue to move in that direction and don’t look back. Because if you persist, someday, the rest of the world will notice. That’s when they will pat you on your shoulder and exclaim how lucky you are.

When that happens, just smile and let your light shine.
