The Greatest Moment Of Your Life Starts Today

Do you know? Today could be the day that you make that one great life decision. The decision that’s going to ramp your life up to the next level. Today could be the day that changes your entire life for good.

The consequence of choosing a path with no growth causes your mind and body to deteriorate. Every time you push yourself to the next level, you grow. Every time you grow, your capacity increases. You expand as a result.

No one can stay the same. If you try to stay the same, if you refuse to develop yourself, if you don’t strive to get better as a human being, you’re starving your soul and it will die. Your body may not die physically, but your soul will shrivel in on itself and wither. Growth is as necessary for the human soul as it is for any other thing in life.

You are a unique individual. That’s why a universal strategy for growth does not exist. Each pathway is a personalized journey. It’s up to you to figure out which road leads to your version of success.

What is your version of success?

What are you craving for?

A better job, better financial standing, more happiness, a stronger body, greater relationships? Can you see a better version of yourself down the road?

I bet you can.

It’s your bigger self. Your better self. The stronger you. The universe is ready to gift you beyond your wildest expectation. You know that deep inside. Because once in a while, you see a glimpse of that dream turned real; an image of yourself so grand and exquisite that you wonder how you’ll ever get there.

The purpose of this spectacular life is not to endure it but to fly, to stumble, to fall in love with life itself. You were born to flourish, dear ones, not simply exist.

I know you want growth. I know you want to be better than yesterday. I know you see your dreams. But can you sustain through discipline and hard work? Are you committed? Your dreams are not going to come to you while you sit around and passively wait for inspiration. You have to go out there and get it. Whatever it takes. Do you want it bad enough?

Don’t just wait for something to happen because waiting will kill your precious time. You only have a finite amount of it. Once spent, it’s gone, forever. No take-backs, no retrievals. So do something right now.

Every day you change. You are not the same person for the whole of your life. Your thoughts, feelings, personality, and mindset go through changes constantly. You’re slowly moving toward the person you’ll end up being. No matter how settled or happy you think you are, it will only be so, until the next plan combusted and life propelled you down a different path.

Then you go through the cycle again. Decisions. Will power. Actions. And commitments.

How can you keep up in a world of constant change? Life is consistently evolving, all the time. Unless you keep your momentum, you’re going to regress. If you desire growth, it will have to be on purpose. You must decide. You are either moving forward or losing ground.

Something must be changing one way or another. Maintenance is not progress. Maintenance is regression over time. Strive for development and cultivate who you really are and who you want to become. Meet your own expectations and attack your goals head-on. Like a sculptor, build yourself with great passion.

Along the way, things will crop up that demand your attention. Troubles show up uninvited. Unsolicited advice from family and friends. Life can certainly get in the way. But distractions are here for a reason. They are signs the universe is testing you. To see if you are truly determined. To see how bad you really want this.

Make up your mind that no matter what comes your way, no matter how difficult, no matter how unfair, you will do more than simply survive. You will thrive in spite of it.

– Joel Osteen

Take your eyes off the problems. Stop considering the obstacles. Strain your vision beyond. Don’t be overcome by fear. When your challenges say, Impossible, turn around and reply, “Thank you, I got this.”

It’s not about being perfect. It’s about progress. The ability to say, “I’m a mess now but I’m working on it.”

Evaluate yourself. Are you better than who you were yesterday, last week, last month, last year? Are you more generous, more confident, more courageous? Don’t become brittle, selfish, or afraid. Those aren’t the places you begin. Those are places you’ll end up, by default.

Observe what works and what doesn’t work in your own life. Are you being intentional with whom you spend time with? Just as plants need pruning to grow well, your friendship circle needs care and maintenance. Take care to ensure your inner circle is those who can lift you. Make deposits or withdrawals from the circle of supporters around you. The principles you want to master. The skills and habits you want to emulate. But remember you are only as good as the five closest people in your life. Choose wisely.

We heard about the danger of complacency, getting caught up in the comfort zone. It prevents you from improving. It stops you from achieving. Because stagnation leads to missed opportunities, a waste of time, and unrealized dreams. That’s nowhere near where you should be. You can’t afford it.

Instead, take a chance, a risk. Be willing to squeeze yourself into a better version mold every single day. Grow through failure and build resilience to bounce back up.

Many tend to see their current place in life as a means to an end. We fail to acknowledge that where we are is pre-loaded with ideas, opportunities, and potentials that will either encourage or hinder our growth. Progress equals happiness. You’re either striving or thriving.

You’ll only experience a better life when you’re willing to find the inner strength and courage to become a ‘killer’. The killer of the old you, the old parts of you that are inhibiting your growth. It is not possible to achieve your biggest goals and dreams by being the exact same person you are at this moment. You have to outgrow yourself.

The other option is to stay completely the same. Which is fine, if that’s what you want. Just don’t expect to get any different results than the ones you’re currently getting. Killing yourself would not be nearly as painful as remaining stuck at where you are.

At our core, the soul is what drives us to grow, achieve, and to learn, all in a quest to become more. If you squelch this life force, the process of death ensues. You are always becoming, and you can begin to choose by becoming something better if you care.

Decide right now. What is the one step you can take today to close this chapter in your life and embark on a brand new one?

You don’t need to be perfect to grow. You don’t need to have everything worked out the way you had planned. You don’t need to have it all together. But you do need to learn from your failures and the courage to start over.

That’s what it’s all about. To have no regrets because every area in life can be mastered. Your mind, your emotions and your spirit are likened to a garden. Make sure that whatever seeds you are going to sow are the ones from which you desire a bountiful harvest.

Life is a series of new beginnings. Yesterday was a blip on your radar. Today presents a great opportunity. This is the beginning of the rest of your life.

Make it a great one!
